My apologies for another burst of English. Like
jemmix before me, I'm a support volunteer who doesn't speak or read the language, but I found something that needs fixing.
FAQ 149 [
http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=149&lang=de&view=full] directs users to their edit profile page to setup an external Friend-of-a-Friend URL. It needs to direct them to
http://www.livejournal.com/settings/?tag=foaf instead.
Other things may be incorrect as well, but that came up in a support request.
In all the FAQ there are currently a lot of stuff that's out of date, because they haven't yet been updated.
Since the profile used to be the place where the foaf setting could be changed and that FAQ has not been updated since 2005 it seems to be clear that it's just a matter of the translation not being up to date.
While I appreciate being told about stuff that's hard to notice and simply wrong (like malformed links in emails and the like), in cases like this there is not much good in telling me since I am well aware that the FAQ needs updating and simply haven't found the time and simply changing the link won't do much good.
